DatabaseConsolidator
DatabaseConsolidator is an Administrator product used to merge multiple WorkSite libraries into one central library. This product allows you to merge WorkSpaces from two libraries based on the name of the WorkSpace or the metadata. Gain the ability to merge any sub folders in the Workspace or under the root folders based on the folder’s name. Combine your documents from two libraries into one and map old Profile values to new values in the consolidated library. You also have the ability to map values from one field in source libraries to a different field in the consolidated library.
Key benefits of the DatabaseConsolidator product include consolidating key items such as history and document relationships. It can be run from multiple computers at once in order to increase throughput. Internal tracking and session management ensures that the system will pick up where it left off on stop and restart or in case of a hardware failure. You can also pre-consolidate libraries and then perform Delta consolidations on cutover weekend.
DatabaseConsolidator is now and only available as a ConsolidateArchive snap-in for WorkSite System Manager.
