The Opportunity

RBRO Solutions is looking for a talented sales person with a passion for innovative technology in the role of Bilingual Strategic Account Executive based in Montreal, Quebec. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a background in software sales. Not just an order taker, you will have the ability to clearly understand a client’s requirements and propose a solution based on the portfolio available. You will be both a hunter seeking new opportunities as well as maintaining existing strategic accounts.



  • Identify and approach new potential strategic customers while maintaining a pipeline of existing accounts in defined areas within Quebec and the Maritimes
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and defined objectives
  • Demonstrate software products to potential clients
  • Develop and execute a plan and/or sales strategy
  • Manage key accounts portfolio
  • Be an active RBRO presence at tradeshows and develop long-term industry relationships
  • Proactively communicate with clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams; collaboration with hand-off to services teams
  • Be aware of the sales performance metrics and work hard to maintain consistently high performance
  • Manage opportunities in CRM from prospecting to closure
  • Other duties as assigned


REPORTS TO: Sales Manager



  • Fluently bilingual in French and English, both oral and written
  • 5-7 years of experience selling business to business in the software industry preferably into the legal and corporate legal industry
  • University degree, college diploma or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or succeeding sales targets in past roles with the ability to sell deals up to 100K+
  • Understanding of document management or related technologies highly advantageous
  • Ability to understand the client’s business\technical environment challenges and propose the appropriate solution(s)
  • Experience in selling consulting services
  • Able to sell from C-level to middle management with a focus on IT decision makers
  • Demonstrated ability to work with industry influencers
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Resourceful, proactive attitude and is able to identify, analyze and execute on market opportunities in collaboration with the appropriate internal teams
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and producing the appropriate documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a current knowledge of market trends and conduct appropriate market research within the territory
  • Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or related CRM systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite 2013 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time and have a valid passport



Experience with the following:

  • Management add-ons or related technology
  • Sales experience in selling into accounting, financial services, corporate legal departments
  • Understanding of the benefits of integration solutions and technologies
