The RBRO SafeDelete snap-in for WorkSite System Manager, provides your business with the ability to remove unwanted documents from your system and still have the security of knowing that items deleted in error may be recovered with ease. The latest version of SafeDelete includes recycle bin features!
End users tend to delete documents and have a need to restore them. When end users realize that a document is deleted by accident, they often request the Administrator to reinstate the document. SafeDelete no longer requires the Administrator to review the backup tape in order to restore these deleted documents. Administrators simply right-click on the document and select the ‘Restore’ option. Also, the System Administrator periodically uses SafeDelete to remove deleted documents.
SafeDelete can be configured to move a document to a hidden trash folder within the document’s workspace after it’s been deleted. This allows administrators to quickly locate the deleted document and restore it. Now, it will remember the original folders that a document was associated with prior to its deletion. When the Administrator restores a document using SafeDelete Restore, SafeDelete automatically re-associates the document with all its original folders.
