SureSave is an upgrade to an original RBRO product, SaveOverride, which was a Microsoft Word add-in that automatically saved all changes directly to WorkSite by clicking the [Save] button or clicking Ctrl-S instead of saving to the local (Check-out) directory until closed.

SureSave provides peace of mind and protection by ensuring that every save is sent directly to WorkSite. This functionality does not require individual applications to be registered with SureSave, as it monitors nearly all documents opened from FileSite or DeskSite and captures every change to the checked out file and extends the save operation back to WorkSite.

SureSave functionality provides two main benefits:

1. Ensures that changes made to documents checked out of WorkSite through any save operation (including autosaves) are not lost if the file becomes corrupted or is closed due to a program crash or network outage. By automatically saving all changes to WorkSite, there will always be a second way to recover the changes to the document.
2. Allows other users to view documents checked out by another user. Everyone will see the latest, read-only copy instead of a copy of the document from before any changes were made without the user having to close and Check-in the document.

Additional features built into SureSave include the ability to exclude certain documents from being automatically saved and to specify the location to watch for modified documents.
