WorkSite System Manager (WSM) 2

RBRO’s WorkSite System Manager (WSM) 2 is an enterprise administration framework that enables organizations to gain a greater degree of control over their entire Autonomy iManage WorkSite System. The framework provides delegation capabilities that will allow organizations to assign key functionality to high and low level Administrators while streamlining multi-database operations. Some key features of WSM 2 include:

  • Powerful interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use.
  • Robust active directory search facility enabling your team to locate users within seconds.
  • Add or manage users, groups and roles in multiple WorkSite libraries simultaneously.
  • Control which team member has the ability to manage (non) administrative groups and roles.
  • Helpdesk does not need to be part of the NRTAdmin group to execute delegated functions.
  • Task and activity history information are easily accessible.

System Wide Functionality Assignments

Manage administrative access to the functionality within the WSM 2 framework and in each add-in component. Super administrators will be able to delegate tasks such as user rights management while restricting the ability to manage administrative groups like NRTAdmin or Administrative role permissions. All snap-ins will present a list of features to the framework which can be assigned to various users.

Task Framework

The task framework enables snap-ins to present their internal features as elements of task sets to be executed by the framework. The snap-ins will present a standard set of inputs and outputs with which the framework or other snap-in tasks may interact in order to provide automated activities that utilize their functions. For example, the AccessManagement snap-in can automatically trigger the creation of a personal workspace by triggering the workspace generation task in the WorkspaceManagement snap-in.

Common Authentication and Login

All required authentication within the system is handled by the framework so that the required authority to complete a task is never in question. Activities initiated by administrative users are proxied to the framework. All activities in all modules are logged to a SQL database including the action and information about changed data and the active directory user id of the individual initiating the action.
