John Russell is a founding partner and Chairman of the Board of RBRO Solutions. With more than 15 years of leadership experience, John oversaw and led the strategic vision for RBRO Solutions, previously responsible for the day-to-day management of Sales, Marketing and Operations. John has a deep understanding of the unique technology needs of legal firms and corporations.

As a co-founder and innovative visionary of RBRO Solutions, Howard’s mantra, ‘Complexity must create simplicity’, has set a high standard for how RBRO does business and shapes RBRO’s strategic vision and future offerings for the marketplace.
A winner of ILTA’s prestigious Consultant of the Year award, Howard has become a respected voice for innovation and technology progression within the document management and workflow segments.
Howard spent the last 18 years working intensely with a broad range of clients, from niche players to some of the world’s largest brands, law firms, financial institutions and financial services firms. He readily shares his knowledge and experience as a member of the solutions’ community through panel dialogues, speaking engagements, post-secondary education advisory councils and strategic client consulting. Howard also contributes to continued academic research and youth entrepreneurship though his work with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Centennial College
As Financial Controller for the RBRO Solutions group of companies, Lyra is responsible for the overall corporate accounting and financial functions, including budgeting, business planning, billings, collections, accounts payable, payroll, taxation, variable compensation, procurement, facility management, board reporting and cash flow management. She helps manage the relationships with the auditors, ensures that management and risk controls are in place, and that the business is compliant with government statutory requirements.
Lyra works closely with the various department heads as a key business partner, and she is involved in various revenue maximization initiatives, cost optimization and continuous process improvements, as well as other initiatives to drive operating efficiencies.
Prior to joining RBRO, Lyra was the Finance Officer for ABS-CBN Corporation (Philippines), where she managed investor relations and the financial planning function. She assisted ABS-CBN expand into Canada. Prior to this role, she has held various senior finance positions in the areas of Investment analysis and market research with Credit Lyonnais Securities (France) and Swiss Bank Corporation (Switzerland). Lyra has a Bachelor of Arts, Economics Degree from University of Santo Tomas and is currently pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
Director, Strategic Consulting
Trevor Bell is the Director of Strategic Consulting at RBRO Solutions. Over his 20-year career he has had the unique opportunity of working in many different roles, including accountant, technology specialist, business transformation specialist, project manager, people manager, organization leader and consultant.
Trevor has a breadth of experience in the legal vertical, in all areas of practice. Implementing document management/work product management in law firms across North America, records management guidance and solutions to AM Law 100 firms, creating and implementing complex workflow and legal process management solutions. Trevor is a certified records manager, a certified work product management engineer, a Green Belt Certified Lean Six Sigma Project Manager, trained BlackPearl Workflow and Business Process Management professional, a certified computer programmer, holds a certificate in negotiation and advanced presentation methodologies and has won numerous awards including being a three-time CIO award winner. Trevor has diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
Director, Global Client & Partner Engagement
Focused worldwide as the Director of Client and Partner Engagement, Lyse leads channel partners, customer care, account management and learning at RBRO. She has a reputation for building strong relationships across all levels of an organization and has continually exceeded expectations by delivering tangible value. Lyse believes that RBRO’s success firmly lies in listening to client and partner recommendations and feedback.
She has over 25 years of strong business experience in education, customer support and account management and has worked in various industries including legal, healthcare and information technology. Lyse has personally led and conducted hundreds of business process initiatives and projects, resulting in well thought out strategic plans, operational excellence outcomes and quantified ROI business returns.
Lyse has also managed large-scale curriculum deployments and government accreditation projects while embracing the dynamics, drivers, financial and political constraints that her clients face.
EMEA Regional Director
Philip’s incredible work ethic, combined with his integrity and credibility, has garnered trust in a market that values strong vendor relationships. Philip focuses on ensuring that every RBRO client receives exceptional levels of service backed by strong knowledge and a deep understanding of their complex needs. Having worked as a highly successful account director, key account manager and a senior field sales executive Philip definitely understands how to connect clients with the solutions that will best fit their needs.
His 20 years’ experience in the Royal Air Force in a variety of roles and appointments has shaped Philip’s discipline. His background of working with key decision-makers in a variety of industrial and commercial markets with companies such as ELM Solutions and Lexis Nexis contributes to his deep understanding of what’s needed for success. With his wealth of experience in sales and leadership, Philip provides a sure hand in guiding RBRO’s EMEA business while helping RBRO’s clients to grow their own.
Director, Talent & Transformation
Heather is responsible for ensuring that the global business leaders and employees are enabled to achieve RBRO’s mission as the most trusted solutions provider for the business services industry. Heather is helping to accelerate RBRO’s global transformation and growth through leadership development, talent attraction and retention, and by building a culture of engagement and innovation.
With over 18 years in talent, organizational change management, and leadership experience, Heather has focused in the technology industry by designing strategies and implementing programs for all areas of human resources for both public and private organizations.
Prior to RBRO, Heather was part of the senior leadership teams at well-known digital entertainment companies including Ubisoft, C.O.R.E. Feature Animation and C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures. Also, Heather has direct experiences in mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, transformations, restructuring, startups – infancy stage to explosive growth stages, and company stabilization. Heather earned a Honours, Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University and a Post Graduate Certificate with Honours in Human Resources Management from Seneca College. She also holds a Certified Human Resource Leader (CHRL) designation and is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association.
