After over 20 years of leading RBRO Solutions, the company’s Co-founder and CEO, Howard Russell, announces he is stepping away from his role.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – November 22nd, 2023 – RBRO Solutions, a Premier iManage Partner and leading provider of innovative iManage and DMS technology solutions, announces significant changes in its leadership structure. Howard Russell, Co-founder and long-time CEO, is stepping away from his role at the company, transitioning into an independent strategic consultant position, where he will partner with RBRO to support key client opportunities and provide advisory services. This shift marks a new chapter for Russell and RBRO Solutions.
While Russell will leave employment at RBRO, he will continue working with several clients under the RBRO umbrella, bringing his wealth of strategic and technical experience to enhance the company’s initiatives. This move is a testament to Russell’s dedication to RBRO’s success. The company will continue to be led by a robust leadership team comprised of RBRO Solutions President, Lyra Fajarit, and Jonas Software Portfolio Manager, Don Decker.
During his tenure as CEO, Russell achieved many significant milestones while growing the company into a global leader in the legal technology industry alongside his brother and former Co-founder and CEO, John Russell. These achievements included the development of a suite of cutting-edge iManage and DMS efficiency tools, including its most-popular solution, Link2DMS; a tool which integrates non-integrated applications into the iManage environment. The release of this product showcased RBRO’s ability to push the boundaries of what is possible with technology. In addition to this achievement, the company’s groundbreaking partnership with Baker McKenzie is a highlight that stands out for Russell; this signing saw RBRO Solutions take the largest law firm in the world to the iManage cloud.
Russell is also proud of the ethos that he has established at RBRO Solutions by fostering an atmosphere of inclusion, encouragement, and excellence. This positivity and genuine care for his team created a business environment where people felt open to speak freely, cultivating a collaborative atmosphere where ideas prevail over titles and roles.

Thank you to my parents, who poured so much of themselves into their children, my brother and business partner John, my kids, and most importantly, my wife Michelle, who carried a good deal of the load caring for our family while at times also participating in the ongoing growth of RBRO. I also would like to express my deepest gratitude to God, who enabled everything and every opportunity that I and my family have benefitted from so that we, in turn, could benefit others.
