Save to iManage from anywhere you work.

Link2DMS brings the applications iManage does not integrate natively, including web applications and browsers, into iManage Work, so users open and save from those applications directly in the DMS.

Not every application your people use talks to iManage

Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Acrobat are integrated. Practice tools, e-filing portals, data rooms and web applications are not. So users download to the desktop, upload, and re-file by hand. Copies pile up on local and shared drives, and there is no record of what went where.

What you get

  • Open and save from any Windows application. Link2DMS replaces the Windows Open, Save and Choose File dialogs with the iManage Work dialog in the applications you choose.
  • Browser and web application integration. Include every website, or only pages whose titles match, such as an e-filing or client portal.
  • Upload straight from iManage. Pick a document from iManage in a web form's file chooser, or hand over a link instead of a copy so no duplicates are created.
  • Open and save the way you need. Check out, open a copy, open read-only, save as a new document or as a new version.
  • Configured centrally, applied by group. Administrators define usage profiles of applications and behaviours per user group, and clients pick up changes automatically.
  • Microsoft Teams. Send documents from iManage to Teams channels and back, on Nucleus Cloud.

Works with

iManage Work 10 on premises, private cloud and cloudiManage.com, on Windows 10 and 11.

Common questions

Which applications can be integrated?

Any Windows application that uses the standard Open and Save dialogs, and any website in the browser. Applications are added by name to a usage profile.

‍

Can we add our own applications?

Yes. Your Link2DMS administrator adds applications centrally, or captures them from a workstation in registration mode.

‍

Does it work with e-filing portals?

Yes. Portals that require file uploads are a common use, and the filing date can be stamped into the document's comment field automatically.
