Haven keeps your iManage Work content available when iManage is not, so your firm keeps working through outages, cyber incidents and planned maintenance.

When iManage is down, work stops

iManage is where your firm's work lives. When it is unavailable, whether from a cloud outage, a security incident or scheduled maintenance, fee earners cannot open the documents they need. Most business continuity plans cover email and phones but leave the document system itself uncovered.

What you get

• Your recent matters and documents, ready. Haven holds a copy of the documents, filed emails and workspaces worked on within a retention period you set, refreshed hourly or daily.
• The same security as iManage. Users see only what they can see in iManage, and iManage Security Policy Manager policies are enforced at login.
• A familiar interface. Navigation mirrors the iManage web client. Search by title, client, matter or author, and filter by file type or library.
• Controlled activation. Your administrator enables Haven with a verification code when iManage is unavailable. Users are notified by email or text when Haven is on and when iManage is restored. A test mode lets designated users try it before they need it.
• Secure login. Two-factor access with an emailed or texted code.
• A full audit trail. An activity log records who downloaded which document, when, and how.
• Data residency. Choose a US or Canadian data centre, or host the library data in your own Azure storage.

How current is the content in Haven?

Haven synchronizes with iManage hourly or daily, as you configure, so the copy reflects recent work at the time of an outage.

Can users work on documents during an outage?

Yes. Users download documents and work on them locally. When iManage is restored, the documents are imported back as a new version or a new document.
